Blocks of letters are falling down. Can you spell words fast enough to keep the board from filling up and beat your high score?

Word scores is a casual strategy word game. The dictionary includes about 100,000 words, including some proper nouns, ranging from 4 to 15 characters in length.

Unlike other popular block-falling games, word scores has only 1 shape, a square letter block. Up to 3 of these blocks can spawn at once. Depending on your luck, a bonus or penalty block could spawn instead.

When a word is spelled, its respective letter blocks turn to gold and then get cleared from the board. Points are awarded per letter, with common letters worth less and rare letters worth more. Earn bonus points for cascades and cross word combos.

If you manage to spell a word that spans the width of the game board, the board will widen, giving you more room for longer words, more points, and less risk of running out of space.
