"The page for PROTOTYPES and DEMO(S) for CORKSCREW, the builds contain a WIP version of the first level, which is the home of the Main Character set in the countryside of rural Britain, stylised in a way similar to a Cartoon or Anime. The player must traverse the area while dealing with Enemies (also WIP), that for the first level are presented as red devilish creatures that also bear a resemblance to anthropomorphic animals. The Player controls similar to other popular 2D speed-based-platformers, relying on momentum to achieve top speed.
The levels in CORKSCREW will also be utilizing procedural generation, ensuring every playthrough is different.

Hi guys, the initial build for Steam Next fest is going to be a bit scuffed, I had outsourced development since I didn't have the time, and I had found out that they had essentially gutted my game, removed half of it's workings and whenever I asked them to add anything back or to just make the slightest change (we are talking just looping music in the scene or changing fonts of UI), I was greeted with a slurry of reasons on why it was "out of scope" and why what I had asked wasnt actually what I had asked, so I'm going to upload the initial build as a "Prototype" and restore it from there, since I don't want to be a no-show for Steam Next Fest and would rather show something than nothing, since the music and assets are still quite good imo. When you play the builds, just know that the game you are playing that I received from these developers is not the game I sent them originally, I am sorry for any inconvienience this has caused.
