The Story

Bedtime Stories is a 2D platformer where you ward off evils as the heroes in a fairytale world of the bedtime stories told by two struggling parents. Three parallel timelines unfold as each parent takes turns telling their tales, reflecting their journey to reconcile their cultural differences. As the heroes in these stories triumph with the help of allies rather than powerful weapons or artefacts, the parents are reminded of the importance of people over their rigid beliefs.

Evil creatures inspired by traditional Indonesian theatre puppet show as well as Cantonese theatre puppet shows are lurking in every corner! Defeat them to reach the mythical artefacts for more power!

Carefree Combat with No Death Penalty

There is no death penalty and only a cool-down for healing. All the enemy will knock you back, but they can all be defeated by one hit. Try to finish the level as quickly as you can! Or just go through the level slowly to soak in the beautifully hand-drawn environments.

A friend in need is a friend indeed! The allies will fight along with you and increase your stats!
