This is an early demo of the DEFICIT project in development. It comprises a roughly 1-hour section of the game, in which you will be introduced to a selection of characters and enemies housed in the stifling warrens of Hadrian's Wall.

This demo showcases an array of scavenged DIY weaponry, 3D-printed firearms and other creatively lethal tools. The features described below are all included and recorded in the demo build. Save data will not be carried over to the full game.

Experience a selection of pre-alpha gameplay, environments, tools, weapons and enemies, woven together with a contiguous snapshot of the story that drives your quest through the mechanical tribulations of Hadrian's Wall.

Assignment: In this demo of DEFICIT, under the instruction of your shady benefactor known only as [The Client], you must steal the [Interpolator] and use it to escape the sprawling research labs of Project Sidereal.

Project Sidereal is housed within Hadrian's Wall, a maze of concrete warrens and liminal installations policed by the seasoned officers of the Oversight Taskforce.

In this demo you can sneak past them, turn their defensive systems against them or take them head-on: the best path through the manifold dangers of Project Sidereal is yours to choose.
