Those who fail to purge these byproducts face discrimination, as mastery of spiritual energy defines status and power. Shi Wang, born into such a world, was ostracized for his foul stench and slow absorption of energy. Abandoned and forced to work in waste areas, he unknowingly awakened the ancient legacy of the Shi Fragrance Sect, a once-mighty faction that mastered SHI energy. The Shi Fragrance Sect, led by the Heavenly Excrement Immortal, was destroyed by the Five Great Clans: Lung, Heart, Liver, Stomach, and Intestine.
