NO THEME. JUST LINES. PURE STRATEGY.

Battle-Lines is an easy to learn strategy game for 1-4 players where the challenge comes from choosing the best moves among dozens of possibilities, against human or AI opponents. Will you use your turn to build for the future, optimize what you have, or sabotage your opponents' strategies?

In Battle-Lines, you will need to constantly revise your strategy. The state of the game changes with every move, and even if you're ahead, your position is never secure. Likewise, you can almost always come back from last place. Games take only 20 minutes!

HOW TO PLAY

• You use your turn to either place a piece or rotate a tile on the board. Pieces contain both your lines, and neutral lines.

• You get points for the lines you make while doing so.

• You convert a grey neutral line to your own by connecting it to one of your own lines.

• You convert other players' lines by connecting them to two of your longer lines.

• A line is worth as much as its' length, with bonuses at lengths 4 and 8.

• Loops are worth twice as much.

• The longest line on the board is worth twice as much - 4x if it's also a loop!

• Your score equals the total point value of all your lines.

• Win by being the first to reach a certain score!
