과거 재밌게 즐겼던 원숭이섬의 비밀 3 그래픽 디자이너가 만든 게임이라고 한다. 이번에 크게 세일하길래 구입해서 기대만발하며 플레이 했으나.. 1. 대사 스킵 불가. 어느 블로그를 통해 대사 스킵이 불가능하다는 건 알고 플레이 했지만 생각보다 답답하다. 더빙 보이스가 끝날 때 까지 텍스트를 보고 있어야 한다. 심지어 아이템 대조할 때도 일일이 다 들어야 한다. '그 일은 할 수 없다'라고 말할 것 같지만 혹시나 하며 시켜봐야하는 입장을 아는 사람은 내가 지금 무슨 말을 하는 지 알 것이다. 2. 캐릭터 모션의 답답함. 스토리에 따르면 닭 세 번 울기 전에 몸을 되찾아야 한다고 한다. 근데 현실 세계에서도 닭 세 번 울게 생겼다. 캐릭터들의 행동 하나하나가 이상할 정도로 숨이 턱턱 막히는 답답한 모션이다. 달리는 모션도 없다. 맵 끝에서 끝으로 가는데 한 세월 걸린다. 이 게임에서는 다들 부두교가 아니라 도교의 신선놀음을 지향하는 듯 하다. 누가 원숭이섬의 저주 제작자 아니랄까봐 걷는 거 엄청 좋아한다. 롱기스트 저니처럼 뛰는 모션 하나만 있었어도.. 이 두 가지 심플한 단점에 20분 동안 플레이하다 그냥 때려쳤다. 개인적으로 재밌게 즐겼던 매니악 맨션 : 데이 오브 더 텐타클 같은 3인 체제 시스템이라는 걸 알고 혹했으나 더 재미를 느끼기엔 내 인내심이 버티질 못했고, 설상가상으로 게임 불러오기가 안 되길래 그냥 환불 처리했다. 이 게임을 공략 안 보고 클리어하는 사람은 어드벤처 게임 계의 부처님일 것 같다. - 20분 플레이 한 사람이며 성질이 급한 사람일 수도 있으니 이 리뷰를 너무 맹신하진 말 것.
