“Derail” is a story-driven puzzle game similar to Rusty Lake and Fran Bow, but with a 17+ rating, because I enjoy crafting sexual tension between adult characters.

Story:

The once peaceful town was thrown into chaos when a coffin falls from the sky. The villagers vanished all of sudden. Only things left are embryos scattered on the empty streets. When you opened the coffin, a living person walked out.

My longtime followers know that I’m not just an artist, but also a writer. I’ve always loved Arya’s storyline in Game of Thrones, so my game starts from an orphan’s perspective, gazing up at a cruel world. 

At the same time, you’ll also experience the story from the viewpoint of a Villain female protagonist, looking down on the power struggles between nations.

Fate is harsh, but not devoid of warmth—though the Villainous woman is initially reluctant to adopt the orphan, their bond gradually deepens over time. Players will experience the evolving emotions between an adoptive mother and her child.

Gameplay:

As for gameplay, besides exploration and puzzle-solving, I’ve incorporated somg TRPG dice mechanics. You can freely save-load, pick some hellish choices to extort NPCs, and fully embrace the role of a chaotic player in this dice-rolling adventure.
