The Dnipro – Lozova route is located in Ukraine and passes through the Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions. The total length of the route is approximately 170 km. The line is fully electrified with alternating current at 25 kV. Most of the sections on the route are double-track, which ensures intense traffic of both passenger and freight trains. Starting from the Dnipro-Glavny station, the route passes through important junction stations such as Synelnykove-1 and Pavlohrad-1, and ends at Lozova station, which is a major railway hub of the Southern Railway.

The route crosses the Samara, Volchya, and Oril rivers, adding scenic beauty to the landscapes. Near the sections, steppe areas, typical for this region of Ukraine, are found.

Due to its characteristics, the route plays an important role in Ukraine's transportation system, connecting Dnipro with the Kharkiv and Donbas regions.
