The fairy-tale republic of Novgorod, XIII century. Ivan the Bard dreams of becoming famous, rich and marrying the prince's daughter, but he has no luck: Ivan is not invited to play at feasts, and even simple girls do not want to date him.

One day fate gives the young man a chance. Ivan meets a magical assistant who promises to fulfil his daring dream.

It is an author's fairy tale for adults, inspired by Russian history and bylinas. Start a romantic adventure in realities referring to the medieval Novgorod Republic.

What awaits you in prologue:

• About an hour of reading. Narrative stylised in Old Russian vernacular. Minimum of detached reasoning, maximum of dialogue!

• 20 characters from different layers of medieval society. Some of them will be meet in the main story as well
