This is a DEMO version of The Mystery of Doomsday Valley.

It showcases the gameplay (including cutscenes) and is a full gaming experience; a vertical slice if you will. 

You will explore the environment, gather items, solve puzzles and eventually do an interview with a local who has been abducted by aliens. The demo is roughly 20-30 min gameplay and it will give you a first look of how we envision Doomsday Valley.

You are Maya Harper: a quirky journalist working for Bizarre Bulletin, specialising in the unexplainable. Videos about haunted buildings, faith healing and urban legends has made you and your platform an internet sensation. Always on the prowl for exciting new rumours, you decide to make Doomsday Valley your next big scoop. There is always something to find if you dig deep enough.

The Mystery of Doomsday Valley brings you to a remote town named after a doomsday cult that operated in the area 30 years ago. You need to uncover the mystery by exploring strange locations, getting to know the locals and find out what's really behind all the weird events happening all over the place. There is also competition to consider, so keep your wits about you and your evidence secure at all times.

You will meet interesting characters in your adventure, some of them are:

• Dr. Orion Nebulius. Professor in astrophysics and advanced mathematics. He is already investigating the valley and this might or might not upset the sinister forces at work... (hint: it does, it angers the spirits greatly)

• Mortimer Darkwood. Manager of the Doomsday Hotel. He has no real interest in running a hotel and it shows. This is a fallback job for him after some misfortunes and he is working some angles to get away from the hotel.

• Rosie Baxter. Owner of Rosie's Diner. She knows the ins and outs of the town and the people living here and is never too busy. Her recipes stems from a long tradition of local cuisine, as her family has been living in the area literally forever.

• Theodore Penwright. Journalist working at The Times. Always on the lookout for the next big article. He is semi-famous in his field and makes sure people he meets recognises that in every way possible.

• Cletus Hogburn. He is a local farmer who recently had some nasty experiences that led him into a depression. Self-medicates with moonshine and excessive eating but also enjoys long walks with his dog.
