Gameplay Overview

Skeleton Arena is a roguelite dungeon crawler where you battle through waves of undead in procedurally generated arenas. Choose a new warrior after every death and fight to keep the cursed portal from overwhelming your fort.

Master Tactical Combat

Combat is fast, reactive, and rewards timing and positioning.

• Use light and heavy attacks to create custom combos and break enemy defenses.

• Dodge to avoid damage, close distance, or reposition mid-fight.

• Equip active and passive abilities to suit your playstyle — from explosive strikes to defensive buffs.

• Every weapon feels distinct, with its own moveset and rhythm.

Death Is Just the Beginning

When you fall, a new warrior rises. Play as random soldiers, volunteers, or mysterious characters from the fortress. Each has their own gear and quirks — adapt or perish.

Explore a Shifting Dungeon

Each run leads into a procedurally generated dungeon where no path is the same twice.

• Rooms and corridors are randomized at the start of each run

• Biomes include natural overgrowth, abandoned training halls, and cursed strongholds

• Optional paths and hidden secrets reward exploration

Fortress Hub Between Runs

Between dungeon attempts, return to the fortress — a last bastion of humanity.

• Upgrade your weapons at the blacksmith

• Purchase items, scrolls, and trinkets from Ricardo, a mysterious merchant

• Talk to NPCs who offer quests, stories, or hints about the dungeon
