A CIVILIZATION CARD DUEL

Nation is a fast head-to-head deckbuilding duel about running a whole civilization, from its first mud huts to its last and silliest weapons of war. You and one rival each start with 70 health and a small starter deck. Whoever knocks the other nation from 70 health down to zero first wins. A full game runs about 10 to 15 minutes, so there is always time for one more.

EVERY TURN, RUN YOUR NATION

On your turn you play the cards in your hand to produce the five things every great civilization runs on:

• Food keeps your people fed and your nation growing.
  
• Happiness keeps everyone content instead of revolting.
  
• Science pushes you toward the next age.
  
• Coins buy new cards from the market.
  
• Swords strike the rival nation and chip away at their health.

Balancing those five is the entire game. Pour everything into Swords and your people starve. Rush Science and you will have nothing left to defend yourself with. Every hand is a fresh puzzle.

BUILD YOUR DECK FROM A SHARED MARKET

Spend your Coins in a shared market stocked with Huts, Hunters, Markets, Universities, Thieves, Time Machines, and the occasional Giant Robot of Death. Every card you buy goes straight into your deck and reshapes what your nation can do on the turns that follow. Out-produce your rival, steal what they have worked for, or simply raise a bigger army. No two games build the same way.

Bank enough Science and your nation ages up. The board changes around you, tougher cards appear in the market, and you face a real decision: choose which new deck of cards replaces your old ways. Declare War for raw military power, invest in Universities to race ahead on Science, or keep the crowd cheering with National Holidays. Reach the final age and the genuinely ridiculous weapons come out to play.
