In this gritty detective thriller set in 1971, you play an investigator chasing shadows across continents. Use your wits, intuition, and network of contacts to follow leads, dig through documents, and piece together the truth.
You will:
Examine documents, photographs, and recovered artifacts
Make independent deductions with no hand-holding
Act like a proper sleuth, working contacts and shaking down sources from Rome to Buenos Aires

루트트리와 황금우상의 영향을 많이 받은 듯 하고, Type help의 요소도 있습니다. 영향을 받은 게임들에 대해 게임 속에서 대놓고 말하거나 이스터에그로 들어있죠. 케이스마다 한정된 인물들만 제시되기 때문에 루트트리 처음 시작할 때처럼 막막하지 않다는 점이 좋았습니다. 다만 그만큼 단서를 모두 모은 후에 추리하기는 쉬운 편이기 때문에 일장일단은 있습니다. 아무래도 고려해야 할 대상이 많으면 더 헷갈리는 건 어쩔 수 없거든요. 전반은 루트트리 이상으로 단서를 어떻게 모으느냐에 집중하게 되는 느낌이고, 후반으로 갈수록 모은 자료를 어떻게 조립해서 답을 이끌어내느냐 깊이 생각하게 됩니다. 다만 [spoiler]마지막 장은 지금까지의 내용을 정리하는 보너스에 가깝습니다. 추리게임으로서 실질적인 최종장은 마지막 전 장입니다.[spoiler] 좋은 게임이었습니다. 남은 도전과제를 확인하고 회수할만한 것들을 회수해야겠습니다. [spoiler]아직 확인을 안 했는데, 엔딩 도전과제는 없으면 좋겠다고 생각하고 있습니다. 저는 선택을 했고 그 선택에 만족하고 있기 때문에 다른 엔딩을 굳이 보고 싶지 않거든요.[/spoiler]
한글화가 안된게 단점이지만.. 정적인 게임이라 차근차근 읽어가면서 하는 것도 재밌어요.. 이것도 골든아이돌, 루트트리 류 처럼 얼굴-이름 매치랑 진상파악하는 내용입니다. ratline 이라는 제목답게, 나치인사들을 도피시켜주는 브로커나, 나치전범들을 추적하는 내용입니당.. 미국, 유럽, 남미 등 세계 곳곳에 퍼져있는 인물들을 추적하는 내용이구요.. 책 중에 '당신은 사건 현장에 있습니다" 라는 추리게임책이 있는데요.. 그걸 게임으로 옮겨온거 같은 느낌을 받았어요.. 문서나 장면같이 정적인 씬에서 추리 하는 것이.. 그림체 분위기도 약간 비슷한 거 같고... 암튼 그 책 좋아하시면 더 재밌게 하실 수 있구요.. 난이도는 영어라 그런지 영어 익숙하지 않으시면 조금 어려울수도.. 전화번호부로 단서가 될만한 곳 찾아서 전화하는 재미도 있구요.. 이스터에그로 루트트리랑 오브라딘 호의 비극도 숨겨져 있답니다!
