Your village got burned down, now resettle in a safe place, rebuild and train to take your revange. ToD is pretty casual story driven RPG that combines linear and open world parts.

ToD: Exodus leans heavily on story and narrative. You can explore the world map, but the main focus is story and village rebuilding.

Although it's more casual, these is also hard difficulty which makes resource management a lot harder (but you should not need to restart due to death).
