Simultree is a short incremental game about monitoring life simulations. You're a scientist who runs life simulations in order to gain points to spend in a big skill tree.
Run life simulations
You're a scientist who run simulations of small entities in order to understand them better!
These entities will yield points upon eating fruits, but you need to make sure they don't die of hunger. :(
Use your magnifying glass to retrieve these points and spend them in the skill tree.
Unlock new things to play with
More entities? Stronger entities? Bigger magnifying glass? More genetic traits? Automatic point harvester?
Do what you want, you're the only scientist anyway.

컨셉이 재밌어 보여서 해본 게임. 별생각 없이 편하게 해도 되다가도 나중엔 어떻게 실험해야 할지 고민하는 재미도 있어서 좋았습니다. 한글이 없는게 조금 아쉽네요.
돋보기로 미생물 들여다보면서 자원 착취하는 게임. 예전에 데모 버전(itch 시절)때와 컨셉이 상당히 달라진 거 같은데, 그 때보다 지금이 훨씬 나은 거 같다. 매 판의 템포도 적당히 짧아서 좋고, 미세하게 컨트롤 요소가 있는 것도 너무 아무것도 안하는 수준은 방지해줘서 좋았다. 유전자 결합 요소는 살짝 답정너식이라서 굳이 필요한가 싶긴 했으나, 같은 것만 반복되는 것보다야 뭐라도 바뀌는 게 나은 거 같긴 했다. 그리고 애매하게 자동화 요소 넣을 바에는 과감하게 없앤 것도 좋았다. 요즘 게임은 애매하게 자동화 요소를 넣어서 자동으로 두기엔 할 게 없고 수동으로 하기엔 효율이 안 나오는 딜레마에 빠지는 경우가 많은데, 적어도 그건 없었다. 단점이 있다면 후반부로 갈수록 성장 체감이 더 힘들어진다는 것. 같은 장면을 똑같이 봐야 하는데, 맨 처음과 끝이 크게 다르지 않아서 지루해질 수 있다는 점. 장단을 종합하면 무난하게 즐거운 게임이라는 것이 내 결론이다.
