The Silent Jungle

War is a place where human values are buried beneath the rubble of life and death. Is there glory there? Or is it the weak breath and the prolonged silence after the gunfire?

During a mission in the dense jungles of Vietnam, Stephen and his squad are ambushed. Gravely wounded, he wakes up alone, disoriented, and lost. A strange, eerie fog blankets the jungle, hiding the scars of brutal battles and whispering the horrors of war. As Stephen searches for a way out, reality twists into a nightmar, images of war’s brutality, tortured souls, and his own haunted past gradually consume him. The deeper he ventures, the tighter the jungle’s grip becomes. Is there a way out, or has he already become part of this silent jungle?

This demo covers the entire first chapter of The Silent Jungle. Step into the nightmare as Stephen, a lost soldier trapped in a cursed jungle shrouded in fog and fear. In Chapter 1, you’ll:

New update for The Silent Jungle Demo - version 1.3.1 (You can update now)

-Added new shortcut and checkpoint to make backtracking shorter and reduce excessive travel.

-Fixed roll delay – there's no delay anymore.

-Aim crosshair now follows the mouse accurately, regardless of distance.

-Traps are now more visually clear and easier to spot.

-Now auto-saves once after reaching the hatch door, preventing the player from having to travel all the way from the early wooden cabin to the hatch door if they get defeated.

-Heavy attacks now have a visible progress bar.

-Visuals have been improved for sharper and clearer.

-Enemies now have an higher chance to stagger when hit by a heavy attack; light attacks no longer cause stagger.

-Incoming damage from enemies has been reduced, but the chance of receiving a wound has increased.

-Increased the amount of ammo available for looting.

-Melee attack controls are now smoother and more responsive.

-The M60 now has reduced recoil, instantly rotates toward the mouse direction, shoots straighter, and ammo capacity has been increased to 400 rounds.

-During M60 holdout segments, enemies now spawn more frequently and in greater numbers, increasing the challenge and requiring better accuracy and ammo control to survive.

What’s coming in the next version of the demo after 1.3:

-Continued improvements to enhance quality of life.

-Added stealth mechanics: enemies can now hear your gunshots and player's run footsteps, and you’ll be able to avoid them by sneaking around behind them.

-Refreshed the medical UI for a better experience.
