The goal was to make the most fun, exciting, and downright addictive word game of all time. In Verbal Beatdown, players go through 9 grueling rounds of battle against various Enemy Books. Each book is unique and has its own way of fighting back by breaking, locking, poisoning, burning, freezing, or even electrifying your letters!

Spend your hard-earned points at the Shop to upgrade your letters for bigger scores and longer combos. Additionally, carry up to 3 perks and 1 character to help you on your adventure.

If (and most likely, when) you lose, check your Loadout for anything you may have unlocked. Every run is different, so explore alternative strategies and discover new words to survive until the very end!
