The Fractured Library Demo is set in the same world as the main game, but tells a mini-story that will allow you to experience the world, gameplay, and vibe without spoiling the full release. 

In the Fractured Library Demo, you play as Kayak, who is assisting Hazel the witch with the Library clean-up after a long period of rain. 

After Kayak is sent to the north portion of Inkthistle forest to retrieve a special ingredient for an anti-weeding potion, she discovers an old friend of Hazel's lost and confused. 

Through a magical mishap, Kayak must journey through a parallel world to help find the pages to a missing book, and in the process restore this man's memories. 

Fractured Library is a narrative, exploration-based game without the stress of combat, level grinding, or jump scares. 

It tells a story through light quest mechanics and interacting with the world around you.
