Torch of Shadows is a roguelite game where you fight to maintain the balance between Light and Darkness, combining the familiar survival formula with territory control.

You are the last guardian of an ancient temple sealing a black hole capable of destroying all existence. If the temple falls, both Light and Darkness will be destroyed, leaving only emptiness behind.

A Battle of Balance

Enemies attack in both Light and Dark forms, depending on which dominates the area you are protecting. Whichever form is dominant, creatures of that form are more likely to appear. To survive, you must counter them with opposing forces:

• Use Light powers to defeat Dark creatures.

• Use Dark powers to defeat Light creatures.

• Each attack you make transforms the tiles on the battlefield into the form of the attack when you defeat an enemy. But beware, the balance is fragile, and it is entirely up to you to protect it.
