The Extinction Directive is a single-player sci-fi strategy game set in a future where humankind has just made the first great leap to a distant star system. The scientists believed that the system was safe and devoid of intelligent life. It was not! Now stranded in hostile space and with their colony ship destroyed the colonists must engage in a desperate fight to obtain the raw materials they will need to build a new starship capable of escaping and getting them home.
