Written and directed by Cape Cod native, Peter Horgan, the film was shot on location in the towns of Yarmouth and Dennis. The film shows some of the lows one particular opiate addict faces in her quest to not just get high, but to feel normal again and avoid withdrawals. She steps over her friend, her father, and mostly her son and still ultimately lands at the mercy of her indifferent dope dealer. This story shows a side of Cape Cod beyond the beaches, restaurants, and miniature golf that America knows it for. This is a story that until now only locals were aware of. Summer Breeze is currently in the process of becoming a feature length film.
