가상의 신냉전체제라는 픽션을 배경으로 한 게임. 픽셀 아트로 표현된 배경과 음악은 괜찮은 편이다. 묘하게 신냉전시대라는 가상의 미래가 픽셀 아트와 레트로풍 음악을 통해 제대로 구현된 느낌. 그에 비해 줄거리는 다소 중구난방하다. 꼭 설명이 필요한 부분을 훌쩍훌쩍 뛰어넘는데, 이러다보니 게임 내용이 납득이 안되고 몰입이 좀 안된다. 조작감이 최악이다. 조작 인식이 느린데다가 주인공의 움직임도 심하게 버벅대서 엄청 답답하게 느껴진다. 사소한 동작 하나하나 입력하는데 정말 크나큰 어려움이 따른다. 마치 자신이 자아를 가진 것마냥 움직인다. 패드를 지원하긴 하지만 조작 인식이 상당히 좋지 않아 오히려 마우스로 게임을 플레이하는게 더 나을 지경. 액션 파트가 조금 루즈하다. 1:1 총격전은 공격과 방어를 교대로 적들을 하나하나 쓰러트려 나가는 방식. 옵션에서 펀모드랑 택틱모드를 바꿔줄 수 있는데, 펀모드는 그냥 마우스 양 버튼만 난타하면 다 깨지는 모드고, 택틱 모드는 공격/방어간의 간격이 길어 누구 하나 잡기가 굉장히 짜증난다. 아마도 페르시아 왕자를 본받아 만들어진 듯 한데, 페르시아 왕자보다 훨씬 답답하고 재미가 없다. 게다가 중간중간 등장하는 미니게임들은 한결같이 템포가 느린 편이라 조금 지루하게 느껴진다. 혹시나 이런 픽셀아트 스타일의 게임을 원하는 이들이 있다면, 이거 말고 슈퍼브라더즈: 스워드 엔 소서리를 플레이하자. 그 쪽이 훨씬 재밌고, 한글화도 잘 되있으니 말이다. P.S! 맨 마지막 부근에 그냥 전원을 내려버리는 선택을 하면 엔딩 이후에 게임 데이터가 싹 사라져버리는 치명적인 현상이 발생한다. 의도된 것인지, 버그인건지 잘 모르겠지만, 혹시나 도전과제를 노릴 이들이라면 주의할 것. http://blog.naver.com/kitpage/220777709563
