The A-Train Viewer
Welcome to the A-Train viewer. Our technical demonstration of the wonderful world of A-Train 9.
A-Train, a game with roots back to 1984, A-Train 9 the latest version a simulation with more scope and scale than ever.
Grand Simulation
If you are tired of city builder and transport simulators that promise you vast landscapes but deliver small scale scenarios, then A-train 9 is the answer.
Huge 10km by 10km cities can be built. Mountains, seas, lakes, skyscrapers, industries, farms and of course the transport network both rail and road that allow such massive cities to work efficiently.
Creating a world from real life or from your imagination is possible. Detail or trackside and roadside objects, train timetables and scheduling for your transport network that can be as simple or as complex as you like. If you love transport and rail simulators, then A-Train 9 is the game you've been waiting for.
View a Beautiful Japanese City
It's important to us that as many people get to benefit from A-Train 9 as possible. The graphics in the game now allow for such stand-out features as 4K display support, day/night cycles, dynamic weather, shadows and even the option of switching to a comic style similar to cell shading. With all of these features turned on the game looks fantastic. Whole districts of city and countryside brought to life.
Importantly we are keen that the game is scalable. There are myriad options that allow users to lower the graphical complexity within the game that will allow it to work on a very wide range of existing hardware.
With that in mind we have also created the A-Train 9 viewer. Free to download here.
This allows potential buyers to test the full graphical capabilities of the game on their own system free-of-charge. To get an idea of the scale and scope of the game while exploring the beautiful Japanese city included. To watch the trains and trucks programmed into the viewer busy themselves as they go about their daily business, timetabled.
The viewer also allows entry to our great new competition! Check out the forum here on Steam for more information.
