ON MY DUTY is a first-person digging simulator built on one honest loop: go down, fill your bag, come back up, sell it, buy something better, go down further. No combat. Just rock, and what's underneath it.

Every hole is one you cut

The ground is solid until you make it not solid. Nothing collapses helpfully, nothing clears itself out while you're not looking, and the deeper you go the slower the rock gives. Getting to the bottom is work, and that's the point.

Haul it up, or ship it out

Your bag fills as you dig. Carry it to the surface and it sells on the spot. Or load the launch tube over several trips, and when the container is finally full, fire the whole package into orbit — the money lands when it does.

Gear that changes how you move

• Winch — fire an anchor into rock above you and get reeled up. Not flight. A way back.

• Gas mask — survive the pockets of bad air that make the floor sway and the world breathe.

• Dynamite — for when digging is too slow.

• Plus backpack, lantern and launcher upgrades, each on its own track.

Down where it stops being friendly

Bad air creeps into your head and takes the straight lines with it. The heat near the core does real damage and gets worse the further you push. There are caves down there, crates worth opening, relics worth carrying, and doors that want a keycard you haven't found yet.

Hire the shift you don't want to work

Collector robots carve their own pits, sweeping a plot and descending a level at a time. They fill their own bags, fly to the platform, bank the money, and go back to exactly where they left off. Buy one and it works whether you're watching or not.
