Nevada, 1957.

In Area 7, people disappear. Strange things happen, and the government insists there's nothing to see.

Someone has to investigate the cases nobody wants to touch...

...That someone is you!

You are Dr. M. Archer, former Intelligence Corps, newly appointed head of the secretive OBSIDIAN Department.

Your job? Investigate a backlog of unexplained cases, question suspicious locals, and uncover the truth behind events the government would rather keep buried.

Out here, the deeper you dig, the stranger things get.

And you won't be digging alone:

Every good detective needs a nose for clues.

Meet Atlas, your loyal German Shepherd and investigative partner:

Send him to retrieve items, search tight spaces, and track down clues. His keen senses can reveal things humans can't.

Some things require four legs and a strong scent.

Explore the open map of Area 7: Fallout zones, research facilities, jazz clubs, motels, secret clubs, gas stations & many more.

Meet the eccentric locals, follow leads, gather evidence, solve puzzles, and piece together a larger mystery than spans wide across the desert.

Out here, the truth is buried deep, and some secrets were never meant to surface.
