Omni Link is a visual novel at it's core, but it's unlike other visual novels you've read before. Game-play and dialogue choices mesh together so you can see a real impact to your decisions. After the prologue, the game takes you on a mission for Zaos Corporation. You encounter an alien vessel and connect with an entity known as Ectype D-7, an attractive and powerful being of technology. You quickly learn that there is more to this ship and A.I. than meets the eye. The artificial intelligence is so advanced she is able to absorb energy from other ships and duplicate them. As well as use a mysterious ability called Omni Link.
Match your abilities against a faceless terror. An enemy called "The Virus" awakens near the edge of the galaxy. Suns are disappearing and planets are dying. No one knows exactly what the Virus is or what it wants. Take the Virus on full force, or select an easier difficulty to breeze through the story.

Choices that affect gameplay and story - Dialogue and gameplay choices make every decision you make carry weight. Some will change dialogue in minor ways, but also open paths for completely new dialogue and space events. Even your gameplay actions have consequences. Some are not fully apparent till later and it's too late to change course.

저도 그랬지만이 게임을 클릭한 사람 대부분이 게임 썸네일에 걸려있는 금발에 녹안을 한 아리따운 여인을 보고 들어오셨을 겁니다. 물론 저 여인은 전자계집입니다만 우리에겐 문제될 것이 전혀 없죠. 아리따운 인공지능 아가씨와 그 아가씨한테 '던(Dawn)'이라고 애칭지어주며 작업걸다가 갓 취업한 직장에서 쫒겨난 파일럿 '켑', 그리고 150살 먹은 아카디아가 바이러스라고 불리우는 종족으로부터 은하계를 구하기 위하여 고군분투하는 이야기입니다. 쉿! 조심하세요. 아카디아는 나이 말하는걸 억수로 싫어합니다. 던은 비록 인공지능이지만 세미 피지컬 홀로그램이라는, 만지고 느낄 수 있는 홀로그램으로 실체화가 가능하다는 설정입니다(므흣. 아, 아니지. 흐믓...). 세이브와 로드 인터페이스가 조금 불편하고 불친절하지만 우리 인공지능 아가씨가 물(Body)심(Chest)양면으로 착하기 때문에 그 부분은 용서하기로 했습니다. 던은 매우 지적이면서도 무뚝뚝한데 인공지능 특유의 백치미가 더해져 상당히 골때리는 대사가 많이 등장합니다. 던 : 손상된 메모리를 복구할 수만 있다면... 켑 : 그때 까지 내가 같이 있어줄게. 던 : 당신은 정말 친절하시군요. 켑 : 뭐... 일단은 일석이조니까. 던 : 친절하다는 말은 취소에요. 새를 돌로 쳐죽일 생각을 하다니 잔인하군요. 라던가 던이 난데없는 외간 남자의 접근에 친절하게 응답하자 켑이 '뭐야? 너 나 처음봤을땐 '위험 감지'라더니 저 새끼한테는 왜 이리 친절해? 사람 차별하냐?' 라고 묻자 바로 정색빨며 '위험 감지'라고 철벽치고 그런 던을 보고 켑이 '그래ㅇㅇ그래야 내 인공지능답지ㅋㅋ'라는 대화나 한번 쓰다듬으니까 얼굴을 붉히며 '시...시...시스템 재시작해야겠어. 과부화되서 가버렷!'라고 한다던가 이런 대사를 보고 있노라면 전자계집에 빠져 허우적대는 오타쿠들을 이해할 수 있게 됩니다. 또한 우리 150살 미시, 아카디아는 또 어떻습니까. 적 함선을 부수면 '흐, 흥! 딱히 당신이 조종을 잘해서 칭찬하는건 아니야!' 라며 츤데레 성애자들의 마음에 불을 지릅니다. 물론 중간에 셀라인이라는 녹색 머리를 한 아리따운 여해적에게 순간 마음을 빼앗겼었지만 아스트랄족이 개판으로 써갈긴 구절 던져주고 해석 못하면 가만안둔다고 협박하길래 짜증나서 치워버렸습니다. 그렇습니다. 던은 사랑입니다. 아카디아도 예쁩니다. 셀라인은 쭉빵합니다. 비주얼 노벨에 무엇이 더 필요한지? P.S 영어실력이 안되서 구입을 망설이는 분들이라면 그냥 지르셔도 좋습니다. 주인공이 던을 놀려먹거나 드립치는 부분을 빼면 그리 어려운 수준의 영어는 안나옵니다.
