Backrooms Open World is an attempt to recreate the Backrooms as realistically as possible. This includes atmospheric environments, the opportunity for social interactions, a physics-based melee combat system, a faction system and much more.

This game contains an integrated asynchronous Massively Multiplayer mode (currently supporting up to 100 players on one server), but there is still an option to play in Single Player mode or in private Lobbies with friends.

• Motion Blur & VHS can be toggled off in Settings

• A VSync option is available

• There is a key binding for toggling VR mode that allows you to switch between VR and non-VR mid-game
