WHAT’S NEW IN SHAPELAB MAX 2026?

  • Redesigned, Rebuilt, and More Powerful Gizmo to deliver a more professional, flexible, and immersive interaction experience. It now offers greater accessibility, precision, and customization across both VR and Desktop workflows.

  • Transform System & Non-Uniform Scaling to scale objects along individual axes using the Gizmo or Transform Tab. It offers better control over object proportions, blockouting, and is essential for hard-surface like modeling as well.

  • Elastic move tool that brings Pixar’s real-time elastic deformation methodology to Shapelab, giving artists an intuitive, physically responsive way to reshape models. Especially useful for organic forms and posing.

  • Brush Rotation Upgrade

    • An improved Brush rotation along the drag movement

    • A new "Topology Align" slider to align the generated topology with the direction of your brush strokes:

  • Voxel Remesh Upgrade that includes new "Fix Pole" and “Reproject” settings for more accurate geometry, alongside other significant improvements

  • A single, consistent Symmetry Reference Space used across the entire toolset, that ensures all symmetrical operations behave predictably across different contexts

저는 VR 모델링 툴을 여러가지 써봤는데 이게 독보적으로 좋습니다. '생각하는대로 표현한다'에 가장 가까운 워크플로를 제공합니다. Shapelab은 아주 세밀한 표현도 가볍게 처리하는 다이나믹 토폴로지 알고리즘을 쓰는데 5년 된 저가형 VGA로 실행해도 점유율이 널널하게 남을 정도로 쾌적합니다. 개발자가 건의사항도 잘 들어주는 것 같고요. 일단 사서 써 보세요. 돈이 아깝지 않습니다. 2시간 내에 환불할 생각 안 들 겁니다.

이거 다좋은대 아쉬운점이 너무 많에요 브러쉬 형태가 구 정육방체 원뿔? 등 종류가 너무 협소하다는점과 기준축을 잡아주는 옵션이 없어서 대칭 브러시 쓸때 비대칭이 된다던지 스케일큰 파일을 건들때 팅긴다던가 등등 그래도 직관적이라서 알못인 저에겐 꽤나 유용한 툴이었습니다. 이번에 A사에서 VR전용 툴로 하나 나왔던대 그것도 기대중이구요. 둘다 비교해서 좀더 마음에 드는걸로 아예 넘어갈듯 하네요. 한줄평 가성비로는 유일무이
