Algotica is an educational adventure-puzzle game about programming, along with a story that breaks the fourth wall. If you wanted to start learning programming but it seems too difficult to understand, you don't have enough time, or you're just not sure that you need it - this game is a great place to start.
The main aim is to lead a program named Lony from the start point to the end point of a level. This must all be done using only formal rules and logic of the in-game world - Algotica. Although the game seems simple, each new level has new obstacles and sometimes even new mechanics. With each new stage, you will use more advanced programming mechanics and understand more about programming and algorithms.

모뉴먼트 밸리를 연상시키는 그래픽이 마음에 들어서 구입했는데 플레이방식은 전혀 다른 게임이었습니다. 로봇인 로니를 조종해서 퍼즐을 풀어나가면 되는데,조종하는 방식이 일정 커맨드를 입력해서 나아가게 만드는 방식입니다. 예를 들어 Ctrl+1 키를 눌러 입력칸을 생성한다음 forward를 입력하면 앞으로 나아가고, backward를 입력하면 뒤로 가는 등의 식입니다. 게임 설명에도 써져있듯이 프로그래밍 특화적인 게임이며,실제하는 프로그래밍처럼 복잡하지않고 커맨드만 입력하면 되기때문에 플레이는 비교적 간단한 편입니다. 단,각 맵에서 커맨드를 입력하는 횟수가 한정적이라 어떤 상황에서 어떤 커맨드를 입력해야하는지를 좀 고민해봐야합니다. 프로그래밍이나 수학에 자신있다면 손쉽게 퍼즐을 풀어나갈 수 있을것 같고,자신없더라도 간단한 플레이 방식으로 머리를 쓰며 풀어가는 퍼즐게임이라 퍼즐은 좋아하신다면 추천합니다.
