2차대전 프롭기 시뮬레이션 게임에서 원조격인 IL-2 Sturmovik 1946의 제작진들이 차기작으로 만든 게임이 바로 IL-2 Sturmovik : CLOD 이다. 하지만 이 게임은 문제가 넘쳐나는 채로 발매가 되었고 얼마 지나지 않아서 제작사에서도 손을 때면서 버림을 받는 듯 헀으나 Team Fusion 에서 TF 모드를 출시하면서 IL-2 Sturmovik : CLOD는 회생하였고 다시 전성기를 누리고 있다. 최근에 나온 BOS 보다도 더 정확한 기체고증과 재미를 느낄수 있다. 꼭 TF모드를 설치해야 CLOD의 본연의 재미를 맛 볼 수 있다.
