FLESHED-OUT CHARACTERS

PROTOCOL: Requiem invites you to get to know your Replicas intimately. Each Replica has its own unique operating system! Shoot Hyperbullets with the Gunslinger, Play the Chorus with the Soundblaster, Enter Aggressive Modes with the Hyperblade, Manage romantic inspiration with Ladyknight, and more.

ENERGY DECK

Alongside your characters, you must carefully maneuver your Energy Deck as Special abilities require the right Energy. Further, the world around you will ask for specific Energies to unlock more powerful abilities, character bonuses, and unlock secrets.

STRATEGIC FOCUS

Every attempt at the Hyperstructure will invite you to try out new character strategies as well as discovering synergies between your Replicas. The emphasis is on you strategic thinking, and less on the luck of the draw. Know your enemies, focus on your objectives, and overcome the challenging levels.

Characters

GUNSLINGER

Gunslinger is a ranged shooter that can decimate enimies from afar. But you must manage the ammo! You don’t want to find yourself needing a last shot and having an empty magazine…

HYPERBLADE

Hyperblade is a melee class that primarily deals damage to enemies. However, there are different MODES it can access that help it survive battles, or even heal itself.

LADYKNIGHT

Ladynight is a melee tank that focuses on absorbing damage and protecting allies. With the help of its Muse, it maintains order and security throughout the levels of the Hyperstructure.

SOUNDBLASTER

Soundblaster is a supportive character. He uses his guitar to destroy enemies while buffing, shielding, and

healing allies.

THE ENERGY DECK

The Energy Deck is the main mechanism driving this game. It has several purposes:

• When you have the appropriate Energy, you can cast advanced abilities.

• If you use a specifically requested type of Energy, your character can level up and unlock abilities

• Throughout the Hyperstructure levels, Terminals can appear. They can unlock parts of the level, abilities

for your characters, and Modules that enhance your party. These can only be accessed with

specifically requested energies

• The Energy Deck is SHARED between all Replicas throughout the levels.

• It is possible to redraw Energies, though these requests are limited.

This means that you need to manage the available Energies for what you need to do to kill enemies, unlock Terminals, and advance your characters
