Of course, you don't have to do all this alone. In town and in the wilds, you can find a variety of other adventurers who might be willing to lend a hand if you befriend them. There are several events for each party member that give you an opportunity to learn more about them, and depending on who you befriend, the story might even change...
Take on a bunch of different quests from the Adventurer's Guild, whether they involve helping townsfolk or playing into the hands of corrupt nobles...
