딱 id 소프트웨어 감성의 슈터인데... 거기에 적당히 망한 세계관 설정과 일자 진행을 얹은 게임입니다. 겜 자체는 생각없이 즐길만 하나 이제는 너무 낡아서 지금 하기에는 답답한 구석이 있어요. opengl 베이스라 적응형 싱크 적용이 까다롭고, 60프레임 cap을 해제하려면 외부툴을 동원해 설정파일을 일일이 손대야 합니다. 카메라 회전 감도와 마우스 커서 감도의 간극이 괴상할정도고, 일부 사운드는 볼륨 설정이 밸런스가 안맞네요. 스팀 오버레이를 끄면 도전과제 획득이 되지 않습니다. 정 id 감성을 느껴보고 싶으시다면 차라리 리부트된 둠이나 울펜슈타인을 하러 가시는게 좋을것 같습니다. 이런 게임을 2024년도에도 적당히 재밌게하고 호평할 수 있는건 저같은 아저씨들이나 할 수 있는 거겠죠.
