Desperados 2 is the sequel to the successful wild west title Desperados - Wanted Dead or Alive. The gameplay is based on its predecessor but with brand new tactical possibilities in a beautiful 3D environment. Switch from an isometric view to a third person view whenever you want; for example, for duels, brawls and shoot-outs.
- Real-time-strategy and tactics in an exciting story and a thrilling Western atmosphere
- Varied settings including towns, American Indian villages, dusty canyons, forts, wagon convoys and ghost towns
- Double 3D view: pivotable isometric view and 3rd person view for fights and very close action
- Several levels of difficulty and a new A.I. with more tactical opponent behaviour and more interaction with allies
- Six individual actions per hero and overall 20 new actions, such as swimming, sedative injection and handcuffs

서부극 코만도스인 데스페라도. 데스페라도 1에 이은 수작 데스페라도 2입니다. 기존 데스페라도 1과의 차이점이라 함은 바로 3D로서 3인칭과 1인칭 모드를 둘 다 지원한다는 것이겠죠. 아쉬운 점이라 함은 1인칭 모드 덕분에 대부분의 게임 플레이를 전략 없이 총질로 깰 수 있다는 것이고 전작에 비해 맵의 구성물을 이용한 전략도 줄어들었다는 것입니다. 곧 데스페라도 3가 나오는 마당에 전작을 복기하실분들에게는 추천합니다.

AI가 좀 멍청해서 전략없이 클리어가 가능한 점이 아쉽습니다. 1편에 없던 1인칭 시점 전환 기능이 추가되었습니다. 이로 인해 대부분의 상황에서 총만 쏘면서 클리어가 가능해져 좀 아쉽습니다. 또한 1인칭 플레이시 다른 전략 기능들이나 다른 캐릭터 조작이 어렵다는 점도 마이너스 요소가 된 거 같습니다. 1편 같은 플레이를 하려면 시점 전환은 사용하지 않고 플레이를 하면 좀 아쉽긴 해도 1편 비슷한 느낌으로는 플레이가 가능하지 않을까 싶습니다. 정가 말고 세일할때 구입하시는 걸 추천드립니다.
