Due to his parents' circumstances, Seiji transfers to a new school. He's placed under the care of two committee members: Rino, the class representative, and Mizuki, the disciplinary committee chairperson.

One day, Seiji gets into an argument with Mizuki due to a misunderstanding and ends up hurling harsh words at her.

Overcome by his emotions, he lashes out at Rino, who tried to intervene, in the same manner. To his surprise, both Rino and Mizuki respond with unexpected words:
