The year is 2XX3. A new VRMMO called "Fantasy Imitation" has just started its third open beta (invite only) for residents of Tokyo. The game is the first of its kind. An entire fantasy world that reacts perfectly to the players within it.

Unfortunately, our protagonist, Tae Shinobu, didn’t receive an invitation... Or did she?
