Rainn and Skye are a couple living in the snowy Lily Peaks of the remote Puffball region. Three years ago, they moved there because of Rainn's curse: heavy clouds follow her everywhere, so she cannot stay in any populated areas for a long time. Tonight, they are returning home from Puffball Town after a pizza date. As they drive across the frozen mountain wilderness, talking about everything and remembering events of their lives, something is bound to happen, making today unlike any other day.
