In the distant future, the world is unified under the control of a religious organization venerating a mysterious entity called the Saint Lord. They claim to have got ridden the humanity of all conflicts, wars and disasters. However, under the pretext of this they also forbidden or outright destroyed a lot of human cultural heritage, such as music, literature, etc. Those dissatisfied with such measures raised uprisings, which were brutally suppressed. However, one day a special kind of technology fell into the hands of the rebels, giving them hope of victory.
The player has to choose which side to take: the Church with its adherence to order, or the rebels with their desire for freedom.
