A patient is brought into the hospital where you work.
His name is Licht, and despite having no apparent injuries or illnesses, he remains in a mysterious state of never waking up.

Jackson, the attending physician, proposes using a special device to cure him.
This device allows people to enter the patient’s dream and search for his soul to bring him back to reality.

Jackson and Conrad go to the separate ward where the device is located and attempt to enter Licht’s dream. However, the device malfunctions, and you, intern Ray, and childhood friend Subaru are all dragged into Licht’s dream world.

Inside Licht’s dream, you find yourself in the landscape of the orphanage where he grew up.
However, the orphanage is now a terrifying place infested with monstrous creatures.
