The protagonist, Asahina Ren, moved to Tokyo to attend university. As he begins settle into his new life, he unexpectedly reunites with an old acquaintance on campus - his ex-girlfriend, Kawaragi Yuzu, from his time in Hokkaido.

The two had mutually broken up when Ren moved away. Despite their confusion at the accidental reunion, Ren and Yuzu slowly begin to reconnect.

Just as this happens, on Ren's birthday, another ex-girlfriend from his time in Fukuoka, Yabuki Mashiro, appears. Having canceled her studies abroad just to see him, she declares that she'll be staying in Ren's apartment.
