Lynn Bhasso–a young, but talented apothecary–decides leaving his life, and family, in Kalmeh behind is much better than dealing with the grief that threatens to swallow him whole. So, he dives head first into his work, traveling across the continent to help those in need.

Along the way, he stumbles across three other travelers–though they don’t seem exactly thrilled to have him or the others as company.
