The story develops around Taro, a soft, chubby cat who has to move from his beloved, calm country to a noisy, chaotic city.

Suddenly he finds himself thrown in a new reality, in a new school with completely different rules and habits. It isn't easy for him to find new friends so he decides to spend the early days at school alone, avoiding any relationship with the other students.Time goes by and he realizes there's something wrong going on at school:

cases of very aggressive bullying take place every now and then but the teachers cannot intervene because of the lack of evidence.

He condemns his schoolmates' indifference but he also fears the bullies so he ends up doing nothing about it at first but one day after the umpteenth bullying attack against a student fellow, he steps in between the poor victim and three bullies, interrupting the fight. From that day on he becomes the bullies' favorite target, they will not miss any opportunity to make him regret his bravery by ruining each and every day of his life at school.

He doesn't want his family to worry about him and lest his father decides to move again and lose his job in the city he keeps what's happening a secret and pretends everything is all right.

Even though everyday looks like a war to him, with the help of some friends Taro will try to overcome this obstacle as best as he can without losing heart.
