One year ago, the queen died. A violent tyrant to her people, the kingdom held their breath that her son, the sole heir, would be a better ruler.

One year ago, Eleanor left home, taking up work as a royal servant. She hoped someone new on the throne meant a new start for herself, and a new start for the kingdom.

But nothing was different.

Now the coronation of the prince approaches. As one of the greener servants, Eleanor isn't expecting to be to involved in the festivities. But soon she'll end up getting closer to the prince than she expected.
