After his brother's disappearance, Curtis is approached by a strange man who pretends to know Cobra. According to this aloof man's words, Cobra is investigating the mysterious and sinister deeds of a wealthy family, the Lacroix.

A couple of nights afterw&ard, Curtis meets a young homeless woman, that somehow has ties to the Lacroix. He then grows fond of her and, despite the dangers, invite her to stay at his place, and swears that, this time, he won't repeat the mistakes he made with his brother.
