It has been a week since Henry saw something he shouldn't, on the Upper Shelves, a city built out of an ancient mobile platform. He saw a strange wolf, known cryptically as the Hunter, get shot down in the street. As his mind drifts into Pandora's Box, a night club that exists only in people's dreams, it seems that many strangers are drawn to him. Can Henry make sense of this broken world before it and its residents consume him?
