Recently, a weird and presumably "contagious" brain condition known as "Pertinax syndrome" has appeared, whose number of victims just keep going up.

Karo Virtanen is... A special type of investigator who is assigned the task to discover the truth behind Pertinax Syndrome and, if possible, find a way to get rid of it once and for all.

What makes Karo's job special is his main weapon: The R/D-O Access. A device that allows him to take his consciousness to the Omega-Verse, an imaginary layer of reality that exists beyond the physical matter. Mind rules over body and mass there, so it's the perfect space to dive into the deepest layers of consciousness of both Pertinax patients and people that may have valuable information.
