Keiichi had always believed that he could achieve anything he set his mind to, but his pursuit of a career in the capital didn't go as planned. Constantly switching jobs left him feeling like he was falling behind his peers. Eventually, Keiichi became fed up with his stagnant situation and returned to his hometown of Manobe in search of something new.

Upon arriving home, Keiichi's father mentioned that an old friend was looking for help at the local rooftop amusement park, Manobe Park - a place where Keiichi used to go as a child. Reluctantly, Keiichi applied for the job and was hired to dress up in a bear costume and hand out balloons. As he worked at the park, he became interested in three girls: the energetic and cheerful Yuri, who he used to play with; the laid-back Himawari, who loves food and being pampered; and the quiet and adorable Sumire, the manager's granddaughter who is inexperienced in the ways of the world. Together, they embark on a sweet and sometimes bittersweet journey of "secret playtime."
