Armed with her golden gun and with her companion, Dot Williams, in tow, the pair chase the trail of the insidious Murdoch Foyle. Foyle has escaped the gallows once again, with Phryne on his trail. If the overall series arc storyline will not reach a conclusion, the first two episodes were written to be stand-alone, each one featuring a single murder mystery, and therefore should be able to be appreciated for themselves.
