It took three hours from Tokyo, and involved changing trains on several different lines.
The only thriving area was in front of the station, and the rest was just dirt roads as far as the eye could see - a typical rural area.
That was our new home.
I was a transfer student who had moved from Tokyo to this rural area due to my father's work.
